You Americans you!
Nov. 25th, 2011 06:06 amYou sure know how to name your laws. These two new ones, PIPA and SOPA, they made me laugh. Aside from both laws being a real threat to free speech and laying the ground for massive thought-control -you can hear George Orwell stirring- all I'm saying is that sometimes acronyms win.
PIPA means squeak. Or whine. I'm thinking rats, they squeak a lot.
SOPA is the best one though. When you are a 'sopa' , you are the gum under the shoe, the rancid milk trying to crawl its way out off the fridge, the neighbour that borrows all your stuff and never returns anything.
SOPA means loser. Big time loser. Nasty, unpleasant loser.
So yeah, way to name the laws people. I do hope -from the bottom of my heart -that they will get shot down. If they come through, we up here will once again be affected in a terrible way.
Maybe it's not George Orwell stirring, maybe it's Edgar, preparing for his great comeback.
