SPN and TVD. Thoughts and such.

I'm on schedule now and I've managed to watch both the last epsiodes of Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries.
2x04.
I feel cheated. I thought Stefan had a good thing going there, getting a bit rougher and quitting the moping. He hasn't. He's back to it and back to looking Elena deep in the eyes and sighing. That scene with Catherine in the cellar could have been a grand one but not even Stefan's recollection about her betrayal could kick him into gear.
Waht's with Damon? You sick, sweetie? Where's the snark? After spending most of his time being horrible and adorable he has got the moping illness too. Cry over Elena, cry over Catherine. Kick some ass, boy! Don't let them walk all over you. I foresaw some action when the Lockwood unlce showed up but that tapered of to nothing as well. But I still have my hopes with Damon. There is a possibility that he will get his shit together and be the handsome hell raiseragain that we all know and love.
Speaking of Elena;
nrrrdy_grrrl has just said all the things I want to say about her. Head over here for a looksee.. I can't but agree about the dullness, the lack of emotion. There is absolutley nothing going on, even when the shit is hitting the fan all around her. The poorly executed devious plan Elena and Stefan tried to pull off...I don't have words.
That's enough whining. I'm not giving up, it's only four episodes in yet. Plenty of time to right the wrongs. Tuning in next week again.
6x02
There is something -maybe not rotten- but definitely fishy going on in the state of Winchester.
If this is a step up from the premiere episode? Yes, I would think so. Some of the old spark was back. Added bonus with Dean being Daddy!Dean and handling a cute baby.
Question is what Sam is up to. Fishy, indeed. He has some sort of agenda, what with his insistence in bringing Dean back to the life again. Bonus again, Shapeshifter!Sam v Sam. Sometimes I think Sam's evil smirk is on par with Alan Rickman's, and that's is no little feat.
However, why is Sam still, and again, lying to Dean? Of course he used the baby as bait, that was quiet obvious from his non-committal answers at the end of the show.
Still no clue what's with the Campbells. The major fishy thing though seems to be going on with Granpa there. Who was he talking to on the phone? Killed 'three' of his people? What? When?
My beloved show is for now piling question upon question and I do hope at least some will be answered shortly.
But it ended well anyway, methinks. Lisa and Ben don't have to die gruesome deaths to be written out. Score to Lisa for actually kicking Dean out. That is what any sane person would have done when the spouse goes off doing weird stuff and comes home even weirder. The little heart to heart they had in the kitchen was heart breaking - I felt so sorry for Dean. He had it all sorted out and then he began to become his dad. The 'temporary' discussion between Dean and Sam in the motel room put the mark on the spot. Their way of life was supposed to be temporary too, but one thing led to another... Dean had hit the same route.
That leads us to the major Bonus! of the episode. I know, I'm shallow. But, Dean undressing his baby... That is the best piece of carn porn I've ever seen. They way he looked at her ( I can't believe I'm referring to a car as a her) was outright pornographic. And the little smile...All is well in the world again.
